A Financial Lifesaver
I have had an Income protection policy with critical condition additional benefits clause for many years. Like most people I never thought that I would ever need to claim, but I did! In about December 2009 I was diagnosed with liver cancer. I required a liver transplant if they couldn’t reduce the Tumour with chemotherapy. My policy paid me a lump critical condition benefit and a monthly sum of 75% of my earnings at the time of diagnosis. It continued to pay me from December 2009 until December 2012 by which time I had fully recovered from the transplant. That policy is still in force today… a financial lifesaver!
